General Course > Program (general French)

On arrival you will take a placement test which will determine your level group : Elementary, Intermediate, or Advanced (No absolute beginners !).

Monday to Saturday :

4 classes from 8.30 to 12.
Intensive courses in small groups (6 to 10 students).

Language skills : grammar, conversation and phonetics, vocabulary.

Literature : study of contemporary texts (comprehension, ideas, written and oral expression).

Civilisation : changing philosophies, current events - political and economic - study of the press - written and audiovisual.

Workshops : theatre, writing, language levels, business + professional French, ...

Conversation : Debates focused on the participation of all.

Beach excursions : twice a week.

Visits : guided tour of the Old Town, museums, wine cellars (wine tasting !).

Evening Activities :

Lecture on the French Culture (chansons, poetry, art ...), cine-club, music, sports.
Participation in the cultural events of the City (dance & music festivals)
Optional : Avignon theatre festival / dinner at the country in with French friends.
 

 

 

Excursion (once a week)

Whole-day guided excursion either in the Montpellier hinterland or on the Mediterranean coast ; visits of famous cities as Nîmes (Roman monuments) or areas as the Camargue in Provence.
